Beck's Brew House, a bar that allows
smoking because it doesn't have food service,
has opened at 3611 King's Row, at the intersection
with North McCarran.
Garrett Hallenbeck, who owns the 2,400-
square-foot bar, said patrons can order food
for delivery from Blind Onion Pizza next
door.
Hallenbeck decided to target patrons who
are smokers because they have few options in
northwest Reno. But he said an extensive
ventilation system makes the bar agreeable to
non-smokers as well.
The business employs six.
