The College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources at the University of Nevada, Reno, said several events at its annual Field Day on Saturday are likely to be of particular interest to businesspeople.
The Field Day, which is free, runs from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Main Station Farm near McCarran Boulevard and Mill Street.
Among the subjects to be discussed during the field day tours are development of crops for biofuel production, marketing of grass-fed beef and development of new products by Wolf Pack Meats.
