Ferarro, McGee and Sanford set for Hall of Fame induction

Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada will honor three longtime Reno professionals at its 23rd annual Hall of Fame Gala on Oct. 17 at the new Tuscany Ballroom in the Peppermill Resort Casino.

Honored will be:

* Greg Ferraro, president and founder of The Ferraro Group. Ferarro served as political consultant for more than 50 campaigns, including President George W. Bush's 2004 re-election bid. Ferraro serves as a director for First Independent Bank of Nevada, is a trustee of the Nature Conservancy and Great Basin National Park Foundation and was recently named chairman of the Judicial Discipline Commission.

* Charles McGee has served the Nevada judiciary for 20 years and founded and presided over Washoe County's Family Drug Court. He is a founding director and chairman for Kids Korner, The Silver State Academy and the Foster Care Review Board. McGee has served twice as chief judge and was the first elected chief judge in the history of the Second Judicial District Court.

* William Sanford, partner of Sanford and McGee. Sanford practiced tax and family law for 48 years and currently practices law independently. He is a founding member of the Brodhead Foundation and served on the University of Nevada, Reno, Foundation as well as the Planned Giving Committee and the Leonette Foundation.
