Career College of Northern Nevada expects to move to a new location in Sparks in late summer.

The private college has leased 33,000 square feet at 1421 Pullman Drive, just south of Prater Way near Sparks Blvd.

The new quarters will more than double the space available to the school in its current location at 1195 Corporate Blvd. in east Reno.

"We've run out of space here," says Nate Clark, president and chief executive officer of Career Collegeof Northern Nevada. "Our classes are full."

The school has about 400 students in programs ranging from computer technology to pharmacy technician. Clark said the school has been forced to delay introduction of some new programs because space hasn't been available.

Career College of Northern Nevada has been in operation in Reno since 1984, when it was launched as Apollo Business and Technical School. Clark's family purchased the school in 1989. NNBW staff
