The licenses of seven northern Nevada contractors have been revoked by the Nevada State Contractors Board, and six other contractors face lesser disciplinary measures.
Contractors whose licenses were revoked include:
* Capitol Overhead Door Inc. of Carson City. The board said the company failed to comply with regulations and didn't keep a bond in force.
* Eclipse Property LLC of Reno. The company participated in a prohibited act, failed to establish financial responsibility and didn't respond to a request fro the board. The company also was fined $2,500 and told to make restitution to damaged parties. The company was licensed for small residential and commercial work as well as installation of prefabricated steel structures and awnings.
* Access Automated Door Systems LLC of Sparks. The company failed to comply with the terms of a construction contract and failed to keep a bond in force. It also was fined $2,300 and told to pay restitution.
* Visions Concrete Design LLC of Sparks. The board said it acted beyond the scope of its license, failed to pay for materials and services and abandoned a project.
* LeeDavid Emilio Conver of Winnemucca who does buisness as Jalumo Construction, The board said Conver failed to establish financial responsibility and worked beyond the scope of his license.
* Robert Wayne Buss of Reno, who does business as Wayne Buss Construction. The company failed to establish financial responsibility, the contractors board said. It was fined $1,000 and required to pay restitution.
* Kenneth Eugene Peters, a painter in Reno. The board said Peters failed to establish financial responsibility.
In other disciplinary actions, the license of J E Martensen Landscape Construction Co. of Sparks was suspended. The board said the company participated in a prohibited act and failed to keep a bond in force.
Lakemont Homes Nevada, Inc., was fined $2,000 for failure to discharge a lien and failure to establish financial responsibility.
DLM Construction, Inc., of Sparks was fined $500 after the board found it failed to establish financial responsibility.
Arley Ralph Poole was fined for unlawful advertising, Thomas Walker Dundas was found to be contracting without a license, and Francis Frank Ford was fined for contracting without a license.
