Genoa Tree Nursery settled claims by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that it misused the chemicals Round-Up Pro, Lontrel, and Amine 4 2, 4 Weedkiller and will pay $5,440 in fines.
The EPA said last week the tree nursery didn't notify workers of recent chemical applications and didn't provide information about emergency care.
