The Nevada State Contractors Board revoked the licenses of four northern Nevada contractors.

The license of McGuinness Construction of Lovelock was revoked after the board found the company didn't pay for materials or services, failed to discharge a lien and failed to establish financial responsibility. The company also was fined $3,000 and told to make restitution to parties it damaged.

The board revoked the license of Vern Savage Construction of Incline Village after determining the company failed to pay for materials and service, failed to establish financial responsibility and failed to comply with an order of the board. The company was fined $2,500 and told to make restitution to parties it damaged.

The licenses of Eastern Sierra Roofing and RD Swope of Sparks were revoked after the board found the companies engaged in a prohibited act, failed to establish financial responsibility and failed to comply with a citation from the board. The companies also were fined $1,000.

Meanwhile, Rockie L. Jamison, who does business as Sierra Equipment Co., was issued a citation by the contractors board on allegations he undertook contracting without a license. Investigators said he provided a bid for electrical work.
