Rosemary Thomas has been named manager of the Ely district of the Bureau of Land Management.
She previously worked since 2004 as a field manager for the BLM in western Idaho. She also has worked for the agency in Nevada, California and Alaska.
Thomas is a graduate of New Mexico State University.
