A Nevada Commission on Tourism sales team last week launched an autumn sales blitz Aug. 17 to stimulate travel from Chicago, Denver and Dallas.
The three cities were targeted because they offer convenient air service to Nevada.
Accompanying the NCOT sales staff to Dallas and Denver were sales representatives from the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority and Pony Express Territory.
They joined Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority representatives to promote Nevada tourism at a Funjet Vacations event in Chicago.
The Commission on Tourism plans an East Coast sales blitz later this year.
