Prestige Publishing acquires Family Pulse

Family Pulse Magazine of Reno has been acquired by Prestige Publishing, the Crystal Bay company that publishes titles including Wedding Affair and Homes & Land.

Terms weren't disclosed.

Editor Linda Fine Conaboy and Sales Manager Gina Odegard will remain with Family Pulse Magazine. The publication's managers expect to resume a monthly publication schedule in early 2010.

Jackie Shelton, co-publisher with Joe Hansen of Family Pulse Magazine since its inception, said the acquisition will allow expansion of the magazine's distribution.

The publication, which targets middle- and upper-income Washoe County families with children, was founded in early 2008.
