ElectraTherm, a manufacturer of equipment that captures waste heat and uses it to generate electricity, will move to Reno from Carson City.
The company expects to complete its move to 4750 Turbo Circle, just east of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, during the first quarter of 2010.
Celeste Dodge, a spokeswoman for ElectraTherm, said the fast-growing company needs to consolidate operations working in four locations around Carson City and Mound House its corporate headquarters, a sales office, a testing site and its production plant.
ElectraTherm has 32 employees and is actively hiring.
Separately, the company said last week it installed two systems to generate electric power through use of waste heat from a solar-power plant in Hawaii.
The ElectraTherm Green Machines were installed at the Holaniku at Keahole Point Solar Farm operated by Keahole Solar Power LLC on Hawaii's Big Island.
