Chuck Levitan, Dave Abeloe and John Sagebiel were recognized with the Leadership Awards of the Nevada chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Levitan, a professor at Sierra Nevada College, accepted an award to the Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences for its research in support of green building.
Abeloe, who manages the Patagonia distribution center at Reno, was recognized for community outreach.
Sagebiel, environmental affairs manager at the University of Nevada, Reno, was recognized for advancement of green building through education and training.
