Richard Pennington, executive vice president of corporate strategy for International Game Technology since 2005, has lost his job in cost-cutting move.
The Reno-based company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing last week that Pennington was among management-level employees who were laid off earlier this month. Pennington will receive a severance package and may work as a short-term consultant to IGT.
He joined the company in 2001 and held positions in product development and strategy during his career.
