Pamela duPre has been named public information officer for the Nevada Secretary of State's office.
DuPre previously worked as a news producer for KUNR public radio in Reno. She has worked as a producer and reporter for radio and television outlets in northern Nevada, including KOLO-TV, worked as executive director of the Washoe County Democratic Party, public affairs coordinator for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and press secretary to the lieutenant governor of Illinois.
She earned a bachelors degree in journalism from Iowa State University.
