Belimo eyes Kiley Ranch North location

Belimo Americas is moving toward purchase of 3.4 acres in the Kiley Ranch North Business Park.

The property at Pyramid Highway and Lazy 5 Parkway is under contract, Matthew Kiley, president of Kiley Ranch Communities, said last week. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Kiley Ranch North includes more than 140 acres designated for offices and commercial uses, and the Belimo project will be the first to be built.

Kiley called the decision by Belimo "a great accomplishment and a great milestone," both for Kiley Ranch and the City of Sparks. He said the Belimo facility will be the flagship of the business park.

Belimo, a Swiss company that makes actuators and valves for heating and air conditioning systems, currently operates a customer service office at 1675 E. Prater Way in Sparks.

The company's construction in Kiley Ranch, which is expected to be complete late this year, will include manufacturing operations as well, Kiley said.
