More than 1,000 entrepreneurs are expected to gather in Sparks three times this year for a marketplace event that brings together business owners, investors, trainers and mentors.

CEOSpace Inc. expects that the events each will generate at least $1 million in economic impact in northern Nevada, said Ray Moore, the president of CEOSpace in Nevada.

The Alabama-based organization bills itself as the largest group of entrepreneurs in the world with 60,000 members. The northern Nevada events are expected to draw participants from around the world, Moore said.

The events are scheduled May 10-17, July 19-26 and Oct. 4-11 at John Ascuaga's Nugget.

A fourth event is scheduled Dec. 13-20 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe at Incline Village.

During the weeklong Forum, CEOSpace members will attend workshops and teaching seminars, work on ways of pitching their business to investors and network with business leaders.
