PC-Doctor Inc. of Reno said last week it's hired a former Lenovo Group executive as chief executive officer and president.
Steve Petracca also will serve on the board of the privately held maker of software diagnostic tools.
He succeeds Suzanna Mak, who remains as chair of the company's board. She became president of PC-Doctor in 2003.
As a senior vice president of Lenovo, Petracca established the company's software and peripherals business.
His experience also includes two years as chief executive officerr and president of BuilderDepot, Inc., an e-commerce startup and work as an executive with Pemstar, an electronic manufacturing services company, and
Reply Corp., a computer manufacturer.
Petracca holds a master's degree in business administration from Florida's Nova University and a bachelor's
degree from the University of Colorado.
