Bill Burgess has been promoted to vice president in the private client services and wealth management services division of City National Bank in Reno.
Burgess, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marines, joined City National in 2007 as an investment planning officer. He previously worked for 1st National Bank of Nevada as an investment officer and wealth planning strategist and worked nearly 20 years for American Express Financial Advisors Inc.
He earned a master's in business and a bachelor's degree in industrial management from the University of Nevada, Reno.
