United Construction Co, has received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its new corporate office at 5300 Mill St.
The building includes interior courtyards for natural lighting and lighting control systems to reduce energy use. Construction on the 12,350-square-foot facility was completed in February.
