Dry Creek Garden, a nursery in Washoe City, and Bentley Biofuels in Douglas County have received green-energy grants through the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
A $6,908 grant went to Dry Creek Garden to install a small wind turbine. The project also was partially funded by a rebate from NV Energy.
A $10,716 grant went to Bently Biofuels to encourage additional production of biodiesel fuel.
