Kurt Mische has been named president and chief executive officer of KNPB Channel 5. He'll begin the job Sept. 28.
Mische currently works as vice president of advancement for KOCE-TV, a public television station in Orange County, California.
He also has worked as director of development at KLVX-TV, a PBS member station in Las Vegas.
