Leadership program opens applications

The Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the Leadership Reno Sparks 2010 adult and youth programs.

Applications are available on the Chamber web site at www.RenoSparksChamber.org/Leadership. The deadline to submit applications for the adult program is Dec. 2 at the chamber offices. The deadline to submit applications for the youth program is Dec. 1. Applications for the youth program are to be submitted to Dr. Steve Hull with the Washoe County School District.

The adult program, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, begins Jan. 21 with a mandatory overnight retreat. The youth program will begin on Jan. 13.

The Leadership Reno Sparks program is designed to increase knowledge about issues and challenges facing the community.

The adult program fee is $1,750 for Chamber members and $2,100 for non-members.

There is no charge for participants in the youth program.
