Business partners Sinal Patel and Rajen Desai have purchased the three Reno-Sparks locations of Papa John's Pizza.
Patel says the chain has strong brand recognition and offers potential for the pair to add future locations in the Reno-Sparks market, as well as in Carson City.
"The brand is out there, and we had always known about it based on our passion for food," she says. "Carson City is definitely another area we are looking at, but in Reno we see the need for a couple more locations. We have three, but we don't think we have dominated the market the way we can.
"We definitely have a goal to open a fourth and fifth location, but we are trying to build the brand a little bit first."
Current Papa John's locations include 1610 Robb Drive and 770 South Meadows Parkway in Reno and 1268 Disc Drive in Sparks. Patel says staffing and management will stay the same at all three locations.
