Development Arts LLC of Reno said last week that its 632,130-square-foot West America Commerce Center building qualified for a 30 percent property tax abatement for 10 years.
The abatement, which will result in an annual savings of $90,000 a year, comes through Nevada State Office of Energy's Green Building Partial Property Tax Abatement program launched in 2007.
The building at Tahoe Reno Industrial Center earned LEED Gold Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council.
