Truckee Meadows Community College this fall will begin renting textbooks to students through a pilot program with the Follet Higher Education Group.
Rental textbooks can be reserved at the TMCC bookstore and online with in-store pickup. The community college estimates the program can save students up to 50 percent compared with purchase of new textbooks.
