The Nevada State Office of Energy last week began seeking investor proposals to develop solar projects at 19 state facilities in northern Nevada, part of a list of 55 statewide.
Locations range from the parking area at the Department of Agriculture building at 405 S. 21st St. in Sparks to the Redfield Campus in south Reno to the state parking lot at King and Roop streets in Carson City.
Investors will provide all of the funding for the projects. Participating state agencies are expected to contract to purchase some or all of the electricity produced by the solar systems.
