Wind Energy America Inc., a Minnesota company that invested $415,000 to buy a 1 percent interest in Reno's Grand Sierra Resort in 2006, said last week that it's completely written off the value of the investment.
The company made the disclosure in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
At the middle of last year, Wind Energy America wrote down the value of its investment in the Grand Sierra to $15,000.
