Advanced Refining Concepts, LLC, which is developing a refinery at Tahoe Reno Industrial Center to convert natural gas into liquid fuel for vehicles, said last week its product is being used in construction vehicles on the refinery project.
F&P Construction of Sparks, general contractor on the refinery, has used 16,500 gallons of Advanced Refining's GDiesel fuel in 19 pieces of heavy equipment.
The fuel is produced at Advanced Refining's development facility in Sparks.
