Majors Michael and Janene Zielinski have appointed as corps officers for the Salvation Army of Washoe County.
They recently spent two years at Long Beach, Calif., where they oversaw the business and program departments in the office that oversees Salvation Army rehabilitation centers in 13 Western states.
They were commissioned with the Salvation Army in 1988 and have served with the Salvation Army in Colorado, Washington, Oregon and San Diego and Santa Monica, Calif.
