Merlin Mann, Internet author and creator of the popular time-management Web site 43Folders, will keynote Wordcamp Reno Tahoe, the second annual Internet media conference for Web professionals and authors.
About 300 are expected to attend the event at the University of Nevada, Reno, on June 12.
Wordcamp is a nationwide collection of community-run Internet media conferences that focus on electronic media, self-publishing, Web design and programming.
Much of the focus will be on use of the personal publishing platform Wordpress as a design, writing and marketing tool.
The Reno event is sponsored by the Reno Collective, a coworking facility in downtown Reno. For registration, see www.renotahoewordcamp.com.
