Monte Morrison has been promoted to United States country manager and vice president for operations in the Reno office of Magma Energy Corp., a geothermal company headquartered at Vancouver.
A registered professional engineer, Morrison is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno.
Mark Kumataka, meanwhile, has joined Magma's staff in Reno as chief engineer.
He has worked 30 years in the geothermal industry in the United States and other nations.
