Engineering projects honored

Three construction projects in Reno have recognized by the Truckee Meadows branch of The American Society of Civil Engineers.

The Truckee River Flood Project's Reno Sparks Indian Colony floodwall and levee was recognized as outstanding environmental project of the year. Greg Belancio and Eric Scheetz were managers of the project.

The City of Reno's work to rehabilitate the outlet from Virginia Lake was recognized as outstanding structural project of the year. Project manager was Glen Daily.

The Regional Transportation Commission's rehabilitation of Peckham Lane was recognized as outstanding transportation project of the year. Warren Call was project manager.
