Golden Phoenix Minerals Inc. of Sparks said last week it signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire Ra Resources, a mining company headquartered in Toronto.
Ra Resources owns gold, copper and zinc properties in northeast Ontario.
Terms of transaction are expected to involve assumption of debt as well as exchange of shares in publicly held Golden Phoenix for shares in privately held Ra Resources, the companies said.
