GameTech International, a publicly traded developer of electronic bingo systems, said it hired Piercy Bowler Tayler & Kern of Las Vegas as its auditor after the resignation of Grant Thornton LLP.
Grant Thornton had raised questions about weakness in GameTech's financial controls, GameTech said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. GameTech said it has developed a plan to resolve those weaknesses.
