Big Lots opening in Carson

Big Lots, a close-out retailer, will open a 24,000-square-foot store at Southgate Shopping Center, 4215 S. Carson St. in Carson City this week.

The company, which operates more than 1,350 stores in 47 states, is headquartered at Columbus, Ohio.
