Dibbs International and Whittlesea Checker Taxi, both of Reno, established a promotional partnership in which a Whittlesea Scion taxi is wrapped in Dibbs graphics, and Dibbs users can call a Whittlesea cab with a single tap of a button on the Dibbs application.
Dibbs Chief Executive Officer Scott Armstong said last week that the company, which is raising $5 million through a private equity offering to accredited investors, now has more than 7,000 users who have downloaded its events-listing application for iPhone and Android products.
