Association management firms merge

Truckee Meadows Properties, a community association management company in Reno, has merged with RMI Management of LLC of Las Vegas.

Terms weren't disclosed.

Randel Walker, chief executive officer of Truckee Meadows Properties, will serve as president of the merged firms' Reno operations.

Truckee Meadows Properties, which was founded by Walker in 1989, manages 18 associations totaling 9,876 units in northern Nevada. They include Sky Vista Homeowners Association with 1,734 units.

With the merger, RMI Management becomes the largest association management company in Nevada. It employs more than 550 people who manage nearly 250 community associations that serve almost 80,000 homes in the state.
