Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 28-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of South Saliman Road on a warrant for suspicion of probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.
• A 42-year-old unemployed Minden man was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500.
• A 42-year-old truck driver from Dayton was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $3,539.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• A 16-year-old teen was arrested at Carson High at 10:41 a.m. for lighting and throwing firecrackers in Senator Square during nutrition break.
• Report of a "baby blue" giant BMX bike valued at $400 stolen from Bordewich Bray Elementary sometime before 3:54 p.m.
• Coroner call in the 2000 block of Michael Drive at 8:45 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• A vehicle stolen from West Main Street in Fernley overnight was located in Fallon around 10:30 a.m.
• Report at Silverland Middle School in Fernley at 12:01 p.m. of a student selling and giving away prescription drugs.
• Arrest on Justin Lane at 11:07 p.m. in Dayton.
Storey County
The following people were booked into the Storey County Jail:
• Tenisha Lucero, 22, of Reno, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor resisting arrest. Her bail was set at $3,137.
• Richard Salazar, 23, of El Sobrante, Calif., was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $2,500.
