KC Mares, chief executive officer of Megawatt Consulting in Reno; Susie Kapahee, a marketing and public relations consultant, and Roger Jacobson, a research professor at Desert Research Institute, have been elected to the board of Sunrise Sustainable Resources, as the northern Nevada chapter of the American Solar Energy Society.
