Four people in northern Nevada have been recognized by the Nevada Commission on Tourism for their work to develop tourism in the state.
Recognized were Tom Lester, convention and tourism manager for the Elko Convention and Visitors Authority; Gordon Horsley, business development manager for Amador Stage Lines in Reno; Mark Bassett, executive director of the Nevada Northern Railway Museum in Ely; and Scott Carey, tribal planner for the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe in Nixon.
