Sheriff's Log for April 20

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Karri Brianne Naylor, 32, of Reno, a community relations specialist for a Carson City assisted living center, was arrested at 3:05 p.m. Monday at Nye Lane and Mountain Street on a felony probation violation warrant out of California and a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant for traffic citations out of Carson City. No bail was set.

• William Dale French, 40, an unemployed transient was arrested at 6:34 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and petty larceny. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Whitney Rose Warren, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child neglect and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. She allegedly left her 2-year-old alone in the car outside Walmart. Bail was set at $3,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of a former employee using a corporate credit card for personal use and taking $400 in cash and a laptop at 10:41 a.m. on Mountain Street.

• Accident at East Washington and North Stewart streets at 3:21 p.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 9:03 p.m.

• A mother reported at 4:37 p.m. that her daughter was forced to sit in a classroom at Silver State Charter High School with boys against whom she had a restraining order.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Arrest at 12:44 a.m. on Six Mile Canyon Road.

• Traffic was diverted at 4:19 p.m. from the south end of the State Route 341/342 junction to the truck route so the Nevada Department of Transportation could cut down a tree in Silver City.

• Request for a deputy to check a residence on Avenue De La Bleu De Claire for the "possible theft" of a patio screen door.
