Vicki Kay Fabrizius, a resident of Dayton passed away at the age of 57 on April 24, 2011. She was born on April 2, 1954, in Worland, Wyo. She later lived in Louisiana, New Mexico, Michigan and then moved to Nevada in 1990 to work as a social worker for the State of Nevada, Division of Child and Family Services.
She is survived by her parents, Victor and Idabelle Fabrizius of Windsor, Colo.; her sisters, Molly Blakely of Houma, La., Kelly Fabrizius of Windsor, Colo., and Carrie Joupperi of Traverse City, Mich.; and nephews and nieces. She has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of Wyoming.
Vicki had a love for life, loved to play cribbage with her mom and dad and being with her family, loved golf, and most of all loved and cherished her girls, Lillie and Annie, her two basset hounds.
Vicki had been ill for the last year with heart trouble.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at Autumn Funerals and Cremations, 1575 N. Lompa Lane, Carson City.
