Kelly Lytle, program coordinator at the Center for Civil Engineering Earthquake Research in the large-scale structures laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno, has been named "practitioner advisor of the year" for the American Society of Civil Engineers Region that includes nine states in the West.
Lytle has served as practitioner advisor for the UNR student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers since 2009. She earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in structural engineering, both from UNR.
