Three Reno residents died and one man was seriously injured Monday in a head-on crash 10 miles north of Tonopah.
Investigators say the crash occurred when 55-year-old Harvey Gee of Manning, N.D., suffered a blowout in the left front tire of his extended-cab pickup, pulling the vehicle into the path of an SUV driven by Marie Lagman, 37.
She, her mother, Nieve, 67, and father father Augusto, 68, were wearing seatbelts but all died when the vehicle rolled.
Gee suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center. All are from Reno.
Highway Patrol officials are asking anyone with information to call Trooper Mike Stapledon at 689-4623.
