Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Kathy Lou Decender, 52, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:44 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of a dangerous drug (pills) and misdemeanor driving without headlights. Her bail was set at $2,500. Also arrested was a 32-year-old unemployed man from Carson City on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor warrant for eluding a peace officer, a misdemeanor traffic warrant and a misdemeanor warrant for failing to obtain substance abuse and domestic violence counseling. Bail was set at $5,967.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A man on Ladera Drive reported someone had been using his credit card on the Internet.

• A woman on Northgate Lane reported someone had been using her credit card.

• A 17-year-old girl reported at 2:35 p.m. that a man between 50 and 60 years old followed her as she walked home from school and asked her if she wanted a ride.

• A woman reported she applied for a job on Craigslist, the "employer" sent her a check for $500 which she cashed, and "now the bank is charging her for it."

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Coroner call on River Street in Dayton at 4:01 a.m.

• A woman on Rancho Road in Fernley reported at 2:49 p.m. that someone stole 400 birds from her. A burglary report was taken.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Deodar Street in Silver Springs at 3:41 p.m.
