Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Robert Lyle Moore, 47, of Lucern, Calif., was arrested at 3:27 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of stolen property, misdemeanor petty larceny, possession of marijuana, possession of a hypodermic needle and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was his 48-year-old wife on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny, possession of marijuana, possession of hypodermic needle and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. The couple allegedly stole a casino employee's coat, which was caught on surveillance.
• John Joseph Kittel, 27, an auto worker from Carson City, was arrested at 2:28 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Palo Verde Drive on suspicion of felony second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,000.
• Sean Crawford, 43, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a warrant for suspicion of felony unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $2,500.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• An intoxicated woman reported at 12:55 a.m. she was punched by a man who wanted to steal money from her in the 3000 block of West Nye Lane.
• A rock was thrown overnight through a sliding glass window on Sussex Place, a caller reported at 8:58 a.m.
• A computer was stolen from Walmart sometime during the morning.
• A car stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked on College Parkway.
• A shoplifter was arrested at 3:14 p.m. at JC Penney's.
• A driver struck a parked car on Tahoe Drive at 4:03 p.m.
• A mother reported at 4:46 p.m. she found cocaine in her 16-year-old daughter's bedroom. The teen was arrested.
• Report of an intoxicated man at a Super Bowl party "tearing up the residence" in the 3500 block of Woodside Drive at 5:35 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• Report of two women fighting, one of whom shot at the other but missed, on Angel Avenue in Silver Springs at 6:29 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:
• A resident on Sam Clemens Avenue reported at 10:25 a.m. Friday there was a herd of 15 cows behind her house and she'd never seen that before. She wondered if someone lost their cows.
• A tenant on Sutro Springs reported at 12:44 p.m. Saturday that she was moving out of her home there and when she came back to get her things her neighbor had gotten inside the house and took the sink, garbage disposal, swamp cooler and faucet. They also let her cat out.
