Health Inspections

The following health inspections are for the period of Jan. 25-31:

• Seven Eleven #2236-15833 Convenience Store, 3083 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Safeway #2247 Meat Department, 2035 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. Three areas of floor in this department have cracked coving in the packing room, missing coving in the cutting room and missing linoleum in the cold storage room.

• Safeway #2247 Deli Department, 2035 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Crossroads Lounge, 300 E. Winnie Lane, scored 95 points. There is no chlorine sanitizer being dispensed during the final rinse cycle of the dishwasher after multiple wash cycles. Found ice scoop stored in ice holding bottled drinks.

• Murphy Bernardini Juvenile Detention Center Kitchen, 1545 E. Fifth St., scored 100 points.

• Capitol Shell Convenience Store, 1462 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Dutch Bros. Coffee Take Out, Drive Through, 1449 S. Carson St., scored 94 points. Found numerous cartons of dairy products dated 2-2-11, which is past the use-by date. Found syrup bottles in storage with no caps. The 3-C sink is not properly set up - wash rinse, sanitize - during operational hours. Dishes are draining on a cloth towel. There is no sanitizer bucket set up to store wiping cloths in. The ice machine is dirty inside.

• ARCO AM/PM #82392 Convenience Store, 720 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Sonic Drive-in Restaurant, 1856 E. College Parkway, scored 99 points. Found no measurable sanitizer residual (Quat or chlorine) in the two cloth storage buckets in the kitchen area.

• McDonald's #2282 Restaurant, 2001 N. Carson St., scored 98 points. There is no residual sanitizer in the cloth storage buckets. Pipes located under the street-level restrooms are leaking in the basement. Final notice on this item. Reinspection in 60 days.

• Donuts To Go Bakery, 1413 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• McDonald's #4 Restaurant, 3344 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Les Schwab Tire Centers Wholesale Distributing, 3020 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Save Mart Supermarkets #550 Seafood Department, 3325 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Save Mart Supermarkets #550 Meat Department, 3325 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Save Mart Supermarkets #550 Deli Department, 3325 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Jimboy's Tacos #195 Restaurant, 2190 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Port of Subs Restaurant, 1621 E. William St., scored 100 points.

• Smith's Food & Drug Deli Department, 599 E. William St., scored 98 points. The soda machine drain hose was not maintained. It contained a buildup of slime. The floor areas between the soda machine counter and cooler were not clean.

• Jack In The Box #7320 Restaurant, 3225 Retail Dr., scored 93 points. The hand sink in the dish washing area is blocked by a trash can. Two customer restroom hand sinks and one kitchen hand sink are out of hand soap. Paper towel dispensers in the men's restroom and in the dish washing area of the kitchen are not stocked.
