Lucille Scott celebrated her 90th birthday at the Carson Plaza with family and friends.
For the past 28 years her home has been in Dyer, Nev., with her husband Dave. They were married for 64 years before he passed away in December.
Lucille's son Richard, daughter-in-law Nancy, and granddaughter Jodie Scott attended the party to wish her a happy birthday. Dyer friends Rosi and Bill Billick, and Ron and Jeannie Amick drove up to celebrate, and Lucille's niece, Sue Dews, came from Bishop.
Lucille grew up on a dairy in Big Pine, Calif. She and Dave lived in several Caltrans highway maintenance stations while he was a foreman for the highway department. Lucille was a homemaker has had many hobbies, including sewing, embroidery, ceramics, needlepoint, and selling Avon.
