It appears Northern Nevadans will get a breather for at least a few days from the last week's pounding of snow.
The forecast is expected to be partly to mostly sunny through Thursday before the chance of snow re-enters the forecast.
The storm that fell Friday dropped about eight inches of snow on Carson.
The snowstorm also dumped
30 inches of snow at Heavenly Valley, according to a National Weather Service report, accounting for nearly half of the 63 inches that have fallen at the resort over the last week.
