Thomas L. Schwenk has been named vice president of the University of Nevada, Reno, Division of Health Sciences and dean of the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Schwenk, who joined the university in July, is currently professor and chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. He also has practiced rural family medicine in Utah and served as a faculty member of medical schools at the University of Utah and the University of Michigan.
